The death cry

The death cry

By Sanchi

Between the beats of her heart
his soul crumbled to ashes,
the intangible memories
came running as glaring flashes
He stared into darkness
devil manifested her in blood-red broken frame,
she searched for the light in blackness
angel’s voice a-singing, sparking his name
His soul was of night sky
the darkest ebony with the speech of light
it all happened under the sky on fire
flames glazing upon his burning heart that night
