Sharib Hashmi actor, director, writer and producer who kickstarted his career with the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire and the National award winning movie Filmistaan and is now in flying colors with his role in The Family Man. It was a very exciting moment when he agreed to an exclusive interview with team LitGleam.
Mr. Hashmi was very enthusiastic with his answers and what followed was a great conversation. The interview moved forward with his reaction on how well his Amazon prime series, The Family Man was doing and the amount and intensity of the responses he’s got. When he talks about how he had expected his audience to react, it is very obvious that whatever it is, a movie or a show the audience or rather the consumers play a huge role in the success of it.
The interview then transitioned into his experiences in working with Manoj Bajpai, Shah Rukh Khan, Yash and then to Danny Boyle who Mr. Hashmi has worked with during the making of the famed Slumdog Millionaire. His relationship with his work has not been a soft road. There were of course days when he was crestfallen but the shows that he had written, the shows that he had starred in and his friends and co-stars had always found in him that spark he needed.
